Web / Application Developer

Job Description

Roghnu is looking for a junior web application developer.  This person must be detail oriented, with strong problem solving skills, along with good verbal, and organizational skills, preferably with an understanding of standard business.  In addition to the standard traits we look for in all Roghnu candidates, the web / application developer will have all of or some of the following skills:

      • Self-motivation to take business requirements and deliver results without having to be micro-managed.  Provide tangible results in a timely manner.
      • Good communication skills and an ability clearly articulate complex processes and problems with potential solution ideas.
      • General computer programming and software development life cycle understanding including both waterfall and agile. Must clearly understand the development process and understand the importance of testable requirements.
      • Experience developing web services, or other scalable distributed systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
      • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, continuous integration, deployment, and operations
      • Developed in PHP, Laravel, or some other web based programming language.  If you know Alpha Anywhere that would be a plus but not expected.
      • Knowledge of Git.
      • Knowledge XML.
      • Understanding of SQL Server and T-SQL.  This understanding does not need to be an expert level but at least interacting with the databases.
      • Write clean, testable code

Job Requirements

  • BS / BA degree preferred but work experience and an ability to deliver trumps formal education.
  • At least 2 years of work experience.  We are looking for someone who can jump in and start helping within our organization and understands the basics.  We can help with the maturity and self development from there.  We are open to experienced developers and our compensation plans are based on skill and experience.
  • Self motivated, can solve problems and knows how to search for help (google anyone…), excellent communication and inter personal skills, and maybe most importantly common sense.

Business / Systems Analyst Associate

Job Description

Roghnu is looking for a business / systems analyst. The business / systems analyst must be detail oriented, with strong written, verbal, and organizational skills with an understanding of standard business and system processes. In addition to the standard traits we look for in all Roghnu candidates, the business / systems analysts will exude the following skills:

      • Personally motivated and driven to deliver documentation and project deliverables.
      • Independent desire to complete analysis and drive numerous tasks to completion and obtain through various methods, the details around a business process or software solution necessary to deliver a tangible product.
      • Ability to understand a process and/or problem and be able to document, along with a capacity to ask questions that lead to further understanding and detailed documentation.
      • Candidate will have excellent communication skills including verbal and written and an ability clearly articulate complex processes and problems from what is learned through single person interviews to group meetings and JAD sessions.
      • Elicit end user business and technical requirements and accurately translate / incorporate into base requirements and system design documentation.
      • Document current state / future state business and system processes.
      • Create test scenarios and data that can be used to confirm quality of system changes, coordinate testing with other module leads or process areas, including end users, and document/report test results.
      • Independently lead teams and projects of small to moderate size and complexity; plans, coordinates and executes per requirements (intra & inter-departmental)

Job Requirements

      • BS / BA degree
      • Based on experience, we do not require a PMP or CSM certification. Prefer Agile Scrum experience over waterfall but require a clear understanding of both methodologies.
      • Strong knowledge of data structure, SQL, formula syntax, analytics, and business intelligence.
      • Excellent reasoning and analytical skills.
      • Advanced Excel skills and junior level formula writing ability to include if/then statements, vlookups, sumif(s), countif(s), etc.
      • Strong knowledge of and experience working with large datasets.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
      • Experience analyzing data and sharing results in a non-analytical format, “telling the story”.
      • Ability to effectively identify trends, errors and provide true analysis to the management team.
      • At least 2 years experience in a similar analytical role.
      • Reside in Tampa, FL and can commute to our office in Westshore.

Job Description

The Roghnu internal staff accountant / controller internship will provide the right person the opportunity to learn firsthand the daily, weekly, and monthly accounting processes required by a growing professional services and software technology company.  Understand the unique needs of having both professional services and recurring revenue streams for management reporting and forecasting growth.  Learn accounting journal entries required to update the general ledger to align data for management reporting and decision support.  Understand the needs of an organization to support the setup for a company to obtain a financials external audit.  Become experienced with Sage Intacct software.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support our internal accounting staff and leadership through the standardization of our daily, weekly, and monthly processes
